This group will meet on 2nd and 4th Monday each month beginning Sept, 2018 in the NGBC Fellowship Hall from 1pm-3pm. Participants will enjoy some different styles of sewing and possibly a group project. Led by Cynthia Phillips and Liz Arnold.
This group (ages 18 & up) will meet in the ROC gym on Tuesday nights with Ricky Wheat.
This group will meet for four weeks in the main church kitchen beginning Sept 9 to learn the basics of cooking homemade breads and pastries. Led by Jill Hodges. Cost is $20 per person. Bring an apron and a notebook!
Led by Dale Morgan, this class will meet at Advanced Fitness on Tuesdays at 1:00pm for 4 weeks to give insight to senior adults concerning fall prevention, balance and safety in everyday activities.
This group will gather at 4pm on the 1st Sunday of each month in the Choir Suite with Dr. Jim Phillips to view films of faith and encouragement. Dinner can be arranged after each movie for the participants interested. RSVP by tickets is preferred once you’ve signed up for this class.
Led by Marley Sullivan, this co-ed group of softball enthusiasts will gather monthly to enjoy some batting practice, tossing the ball and a game or two.
Led by Terry Barnes as facilitator, this group of parents of pre-teens will gather once each month beginning Sept 16 to discuss strategies for helping pre-teens navigate cell phones, middle school and ever-changing technology.
This musical class for adults is led by Keith Stevens who is looking to lead a handbell ringing choir to play in worship services in the coming holiday season. Beginning on October 7th, this group will meet on Sundays @ 5:00pm with a class maximum of 12 participants.
For teenage girls, this group maximum of 20 will meet weekly during September to participate in painting frames, cooking, cake-decorating and dinner. The cost will be $20 per person and led by Tasha Long and Michaelle Staples.
For teenage boys, this group of teens will meet weekly during the month of September to participate in basic car maintenance, carpentry, grilling and how to use tools. This will be led by Tyler Staples and Dustin Long for a cost of $20 person to help with supplies.
The local home school families would like to invite fellow schoolers to participate in some fellowship time each Friday beginning September 7th at the ROC gymnasium from 1pm-3pm.
This group will meet periodically on weekends to enjoy bicycling around the Delta. Led by David Pentecost and Jackie Sims and made for all ages.
